Curiously

did you do all you could to succeed?

many a times we hear, that people feel they have been disadvantaged by someone or something in their life to achieve success.

nowadays, we hear that the migrants are stealing jobs or opportunities. short of someone handing free money over to you, what can you do to have success in life?

I believe its a function of the following three things:

many are born in countries that afford an opportunity to gain an education, and using that education to gain an employment, which affords money. while others are born in countries that do not have sufficient educational facilities or too expensive educational facilities. despite the cost and facilities, the opportunity to have a free education is still provided by many open education forums.

second is capability, just because an engineering degree is made available to you, doesnt mean that you are capable to do it. for example, you might hate remembering times tables, or just dont understand what a sine theta means. That should be ok, it could be that you dont have the aptitude for mathematics, but have an aptitude for art and design. maybe you are meant to succeed in those domains where you have an interest and aptitude in.

thirdly its about effort. effort is not just blind hard word to study for long hours or walk far away distances to attend classes or complete projects. effort is also courage. did you have the courage to say, engineering education is not for me, design eduction is meant for me, and that I will make a life or find my success in this vocation despite what the word is churing. many a times, its finding the courage to pursue what we want or like is a big impediment to success.

but, the above three are predicated on an even simpler concept. 'know thy self'. do you know what is it that you want? if you dont know that, then success will never find you, as you dont even know what success looks like.

deep breath, smile, act.
