Freedom app to beat social media

after a slight medical emergency when I felt I needed social media to numb my mind, soon it became a dependency again. from and average of 27hrs per day screen time for my over my multiple devices, I came down to 8hrs per day average using the Freedom app before the medical emergency. After the use of social media for two days the dependency kicked in and I ended up increasing the daily average up to 14hrs per day.

When I realised this, I resumed the use of Freedom app, and with the conscious blocking of access to Instagram and YouTube, my brain started realising how free it is and suddenly all productive activities that I could do came rushing back.

So, looks like aggressive offensive position needs to be taken against these unlimited algorithms, namely the ones in Instagram and YouTube shorts.

How have your experiences been with Tictok and other endless scroll algorithms. Please drop me a message at spark339@proton.me, I'll try and make an overview post of how everyone is experiencing this issue.
