Curiously

no one is coming to save me.

It's very important to realise that no one is coming to save us, even when we are very close to our family members. At a certain point, it's important to acknowledge that everybody will be gone and you will be left alone. When you are left alone, you cannot lean on any family member for help. No friends or acquaintances will ever assist you in your survival. When everybody is gone, money is the only way you can ensure comfort and care during your last survival phase.

In order for that survival phase to happen well and also for that stage to take care of your wider family members, it becomes very important to be goal-oriented. If you are not goal-oriented and focused on achieving certain things, we will be left like a log floating in the ocean. The ocean currents will sweep you away.

What I found during my various stages of life (school, college, internship on ships or a cargo ship, and while sailing as an officer or working as a corporate executive) is that my success and failure are dependent on knowing exactly what I wanted. If you're not aware about what you want, you will be swept away by external forces that don't want you around, or external forces that just don't care about you, and even closer forces. Family members, although they wish the best for you, will not be able to make you walk the path that you need to walk. It's only the knowledge of what you want that can help do that.
