secret to not overplan/ procrastinate
some times its difficult to get started on a task or project until we have all the nitty gritty details mapped out and a schedule chalked out.
this happens because we have high hopes, we want to achieve all the nuances of the task or project and one small thing which we often dont acknowledge - that we have never accomplished a hard task before. or that it has been a long time since we have done something major deliberately. what this reality means is that, we remain with lower confidence in our ability to sustain the activity needed to complete the large task over the many weeks or months that it requires commitment for.
but fear not, the answer is simple. you just have to understand one fact - that there will always be work. even if you finish the major task there will be more work to do. so there is no need to over plan. just chose a small part of the activity and get started. dont worry how that small activity will fit into the major scheme of the project - it will take care of itself. thats the magic of reality.
if you do want to organize things in your work day or work week, there are only 4 things that need to be done in a day. 1) clean your self and your dwelling 2) feed yourself 3) exercise your body (a short walk is enough) 4) work.
these are the only 4 things you need to plan for in a day. rest of it all will take care of itself, such as socialising and recreation.
