Curiously

vibe-coding is funny

Vibe coding gives you a false sense of progress. The quick responses of the AI, the visuals of plenty of coding lines popping up, and the creation of so many small, small files with strange extensions like.com,.py,.dev, whatever, give you a false sense of progress. You might even upload these files to your GitHub and then upload to your web hosting server and all these things. After a full day's work of eight hours, you will soon realise that nothing that you built in the past day has immediate utility. It's a lot of busy work that makes you feel like you're having progress but, in the end, just makes a mess.

Some of my vibe coding projects are:
- Litmindmaps.com: This site is supposed to help you do academic literature review.
- Fitbit calendar: This is supposed to convert your Fitbit data into a Google Calendar. This one works well. This came out OK.
- Flutter: Another one I am making is called Flutter, which is to make an app on the iPhone which makes quick applications. Yeah, it did not come out well.
- Citybytes: Another honourable mention is Citybytes, which is supposed to be a restaurant and cafe review aggregator, but after a while there's nothing to see.
